From these figures I make the flood to have started around 2348 to 2354 BC. This chart assumes Jesus as being born 0 AD but history has Herod the great dying 4 BC and as Joseph and Mary went to Egypt for 2 years this would put the birthdate as 6 BC. There is a lot more historical data that puts the birth between 5 and 6 BC. We may explore this further in a blog about the birth of Jesus.
Something to note is Methuseleh, who was the son of Enoch, who went to walk with God at 365 years old and didn’t come back, was the oldest man in history at 969. Both he and his son Lamech, who was the father of Noah, died the year of the flood.
